Both events will take place for half a day and will celebrate European innovations and solutions. This is your chance as a European start-up, SME, scale-up, or large-growth company to pitch in front of potential investors and buyers, meet with the European cybersecurity ecosystem, and gain recognition at the European level. ECSO Cyber Investor Days in Rennes, France

A new edition of ECSO’s Cyber Investor Days will take place in Rennes, France, on 19 November 2024. It is organised by the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), the Women4Cyber Foundation, Sopra Steria, Pôle d’Excellence Cyber, and the Brittany Region. The most promising European cybersecurity start-ups will take the stage and have the unique opportunity to pitch their cybersecurity innovation and meet with leading investors and corporate leaders from around all Europe. This edition of the Cyber Investor Days will be organised as a side event of the European Cyber Week, taking place in Rennes, France, from 18 to 21 November 2024.

Your duly filled application form (jpg. png. pdf. doc. docx or pages) and your 5-7 slides pitch deck (pdf, 1 MB size) should be sent to stephane.grousseau@soprasteria.com & events@ecs-org.eu. The evaluation committee will then select a lineup of European companies to present during the event.
IMPORTANT: Keep your application convincing and concise. Respect the indicated character limit. The selection committee will finally select between 8-12 European start-ups/SMEs to pitch during the ECSO’s Cyber Investor Days on the 19 November in Rennes, France.

ECSO STARtup Award 2025
The two best cybersecurity companies participating in the French edition of the Cyber Investor Days will be nominated to compete for the ECSO STARtup Award 2025. Nominees will be selected by the local jury and will be invited to participate in the final competition, which will be held in early 2025. During the final ceremony, nominees will pitch to the European jury and will have a unique opportunity to present themselves to high-level investors, corporate executives and cybersecurity experts. The ECSO Cyber Solution Days organised by The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), the Women4Cyber Foundation, Sopra Steria, Pôle d’Excellence Cyber, and the Brittany Region, will take place on the 19 November 2024 September 2024 at the European Cyber Week, taking place in Rennes, France, from 18 to 21 November 2024.
The goal is to enable a tailored setting for CISOs and corporate leaders to meet, and spark connections, with some of Europe’s most eminent cybersecurity providers. Join us in Rennes to interact with other stakeholders from the European Cybersecurity Community and take part in the exchange of information and ideas on prevailing topics in cybersecurity today.
Besides outstanding networking opportunities, experts have been invited to dig deep into the two dedicated themes of the day, and to share their insights in the form of keynote speeches.

The ECSO Cyber Solution Days is designed to address the needs and challenges faced by CISOs in their daily work. It is an opportunity that you, as a CISO, would not want to miss, it is a chance to meet subject matter experts and get introduced to the latest cybersecurity solutions and products. Additionally, you will learn about the newest tools available on the market to make informed decisions about cybersecurity for your organisation. CISOs will be provided the opportunity to meet with peers and discuss products and solutions priority areas for CISOs today.
For European scale-ups and large growth companies: ambitious to pitch on a European stage?
Cybersecurity companies that have developed innovative solutions or products are encouraged to apply to pitch in this event. This is your opportunity to demonstrate your expertise and share your insights with an audience of enthusiastic cybersecurity buyers and market participants (such as CISOs, integrators and investors).
Application process:
- To be considered for the event, the company should provide a 13-slide pitch deck to illustrate how it meets the selection criteria.
- Europe-based companies – The company must have its Main headquarter in Europe and a minimum 51% European Capital in the ownership structure.
- Pitch decks shall be sent to stephane.grousseau@soprasteria.com & events@ecs-org.eu before 29 September 2024 COB.
- Upon meeting the criteria, up to 10 companies will be selected to present their solutions and products at the event in Rennes.
Selection criteria for cybersecurity providers to be included in the pitch deck:
- Europe-based small and medium enterprises – headquartered in Europe and minimum 51% European capital in the ownership structure.
- Both product and service providers – no re-sellers or integrators (but representatives of those categories are very welcome to join the event)
- Description of the solution/product matching the theme of the event.
- Use case example.
- List of the main clients.
- List of certifications (if applicable).
- Data residency/sovereignty information – demonstrate to show where the users’ data is stored).
- Security practices – demonstrate how the company ensures its infrastructure security and implements security assessment.
- Integration potential – demonstrate how well the company’s solution can integrate with IT frameworks and other cybersecurity products.
- Ease of deployment – demonstrate how quickly the solution can be deployed and how many resources are needed.
- Maintainability – showcase how much resources are required to monitor the solution, how solution maintenance is implemented and if it requires hiring people or involving third parties in its maintenance.
Additional information to be included in the pitch deck:
- Size of the company – in terms of staff numbers (Full-time equivalents/FTEs).
- Annual turnover – in euros, or converted in euros.
- How long is the company on the market.
Selected companies will be granted a 5-minute pitch in front of a European audience and a judging panel composed by CISOs. The two companies with the best pitches, as elected by the jury, will be nominated to compete in the ECSO CISO Choice Award.

ECSO’s CISO Choice Award
The two best cybersecurity companies participating in the Irish edition of the Cyber Solution Days will be nominated to compete for the ECSO CISO Choice Award in early 2025. Nominees will be selected by a local Judging Panel composed of CISOs, carefully evaluating the pitches and nominating the two best companies to take part in ECSO’s Award Finals Event, which will happen in 2025. During the final ceremony, nominees from the ECSO Cyber Solution Days series will pitch to a European Judging Panel and will have a unique opportunity to present themselves to leading market players and buyers in Europe.
