ECSO CISO Meetup 2025 in Valencia, Spain

Mission

Provide support to organizations in tackling cyber threats in collaboration with industry leaders in areas of strategic importance like the CTI and implementation of the EU cybersecurity policies.

ONGOING WORK

  • ECSO’s CISO Community – building a benchmark European cross-sector and cross-country CISO Community. A place for 500+ cybersecurity leaders from 27 countries to exchange information, good practices, threat intelligence and to develop common positions of the practitioners in cybersecurity. ECSO’s role is of a neutral intermediary that will help in conveying a unified voice of practitioners towards other stakeholders in cybersecurity.
  • CTI Initiative – open discussion among private European stakeholders to develop and convey common messages to the EU and national decision makers for possible future public / private cooperation in the CTI domain. Create the basis and possibly an ambiance for an increased and more efficient exchange of threat information among private stakeholders.
  • NIS2 Implementation Initiative – facilitating exchange of best practices among Operators of Essential & Important Entities, Supervisory Bodies of the MS and cybersecurity providers that will provide services that are in the scope of the technical requirements of the NIS2 Directive. ECSO organizes once per month a series of Webinars where subject matter experts share their expertise on the NIS2 Implementation. The main outcome of the Initiative will be a White Paper that will feature industry implementation use cases and the overview of the NIS2 transposition in the EU countries.
