The European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) announces a new Access-2-Market Matchmaking Event, scheduled for 23 May 2024, from 10AM to 2PM. This event falls within the scope of project ECCO, coordinated by ECSO.
It is organised jointly with the Spanish National Coordination Centre Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad de España (INCIBE), Women4Cyber, The Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia, DCA, and will be held back-to-back with the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress in the Hacking Village area, hall 1 of Fira Gran Via Barcelona.
The Access-2-Market plays a crucial role in the European cybersecurity landscape by encouraging networking and collaboration among CISOs, corporate leaders, and cybersecurity providers. It is more than just networking and information exchange: it provides a real stage for selected EU companies to pitch their solutions to a targeted audience of potential buyers.
The thematic focus of the event is “solutions for the healthcare sector or for critical infrastructure”.

Here are the steps you need to take to apply for the pitching opportunity:
- Register for the Event: Visit the event registration page and complete the registration process.
- Prepare Your Pitch Deck: Develop a concise 13-slide pitch deck that illustrates how your cybersecurity solution meets the selection criteria outlined for the event. Ensure that your pitch deck addresses all the necessary points mentioned in the criteria.
- Submit Your Pitch Deck: After registering, send your pitch deck to the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia via email at ecosistema@ciberseguretat.cat.
- Submit your pitch deck before the deadline of 26 April!
- Wait for Selection: Now wait for the jury to evaluate the submissions. Up to 10 companies will be selected to present their solutions at the event in Barcelona.

Once the initial registration is complete, companies can submit their pitch presentations to the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia via email at ecosistema@ciberseguretat.cat before 26 April 2024.

ECSO CISO Choice Award 2025
The two best cybersecurity companies participating in the ECCC Access-2-Market in Barcelona will be nominated to compete for the ECSO CISO Choice Award 2025. Nominees will be selected by a local jury and will be invited to participate in the final competition, which will be held the in early months of 2025. During the final ceremony, nominees will pitch to a European Judging Panel and will have a unique opportunity to present themselves to CISOs, buyers, corporate executives and cybersecurity experts.
