Related to ECSO’s STARtup Award and CISO Choice Award, the Women4Cyber Foundation aims to acknowledge and celebrate women in the cybersecurity field, as well as companies that are actively working towards achieving gender equality. Consequently, the Women4Cyber Award, known as the Women4Cyber Entrepreneurship Award, will be given to a finalist with female-led company, selected by the Judging Panel in each of ECSO’s award categories.
“Although diverse teams of men and women working together have been shown to outperform homogeneous teams, women are still vastly underrepresented in the cybersecurity field. Our goal with the Women4Cyber Entrepreneurship Award is to give visibility to companies founded by women or with diverse teams and thus encourage investors to notice and unlock the potential of these companies. As Women4Cyber President, I’m delighted to be part of the jury for this award and look forward to seeing the many inspirational European start-ups that will participate.”
Anett Mádi-Nátor, President of the Women4Cyber Foundation.
At the 2024 ECSO Awards, the spotlight will be on the finalists as they present their most compelling pitches, which will be thoroughly examined by two distinct Judging Panels. The finalists that win in each category will be a shining example of dedication and cutting-edge contributions to the European cybersecurity environment.
