Amidst the growing demand for resilient cybersecurity solutions, ECSO takes a significant step forward by introducing the latest edition of the Cyber Range Features Checklist & List of European Providers. This updated version directly addresses a key challenge in the procurement process: the lack of precision in customer requests for proposals (RFPs), which often affects the quality of final solutions and overall customer satisfaction.
The checklist empowers organisations to clearly articulate their cyber range requirements, helping to streamline procurement by establishing transparent award criteria for electronic tenders. This ensures that selected solutions closely align with the unique needs of each organisation.
This initiative is relevant to a wide range of stakeholders across the cybersecurity landscape:
- Security professionals can use the checklist to enhance and develop cyber capabilities.
- Operators can strengthen resilience and ensure business continuity.
- HR professionals can assess competencies through realistic simulations.
- Governments can leverage it for large-scale cyber exercises and national competitions.
- Companies can test and demonstrate critical capabilities through simulations.
For academia, both researchers and educators can benefit:
- Researchers can explore advancements in attack detection, mitigation methods, malware emulation, and more.
- Educators can incorporate hands-on training into their curriculum to improve teaching methodologies.
The updated ECSO Cyber Range Checklist & List of European Providers represents a collaborative effort to advance cybersecurity practices. As this project continues to evolve, organisations are encouraged to actively engage, contributing their insights and expertise to shape the future of cybersecurity solutions.
Organisations eager to contribute to this collaborative effort and feature their cyber range solution are invited to connect with ECSO’s Head of Sector Nina Olesen at nina.olesen[at]ecs-org.eu.
