Meet finalist Devseis, one of the ten finalists in the European Cybersecurity STARtup Award 2021 Final competition presented by ECSO, Security Delta (HSD), InnovationQuarter, The Hague Convention Bureau and TIIN Capital B.V. With only three weeks away from the final competition, we asked Devseis some questions, to get to know them little better.
What cybersecurity values does your business bring forward?
Our business has created Software as a Service (SaaS), which uses a) point and click interface for asking GDPR and ISO27001 related questions; b) AI algorithm to classify responses in terms of compliance; and c) NLG (Natural Language Generation) to create and publish a bespoke report. The results in the report are focused on the values in relation to cybersecurity that include privacy, accountability, availability, and confidentiality.

We are technopreneurs and grow by innovating. Our vision is rooted in a culture of innovation. We care about the people we work with, the partners we build relationships with and the impact of our organisation in the business world. And together our team brings more than 10 years of experience existing of Software as a Service (SaaS) Development, Agile Management, Continuous Integration and Deployment, Quality Assurance and Testing, and UI/UX Design and Development.
What is your desired outcome from this experience? What do you hope to achieve?
Considering that the EU is leading in terms of personal data protection (ref: GDPR), it is important for start-ups with a personal data driven business model to be integrated in the European market. To enter such market, my start-up needs to validate its business plan, develop reputation, and value-added business partnerships, this is exactly what the European Cybersecurity STARtup Award offers through its international platform and networks.
