NIS2 Cybersecurity Risk-Management Requirements: Risk Assessment and Employee Training

The ECSO CISO Community is proud to host the NIS2 Cybersecurity Risk-Management Requirements webinar, focusing on two critical areas of NIS2: Risk Assessment and Employee Training, essential for the successful implementation of NIS2 within your organisation. As cybersecurity threats continue to evolve, understanding how to integrate these requirements effectively into your cybersecurity strategy is crucial for strengthening risk management practices, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing overall organizational resilience.

Prior to the webinar, attendees will be provided with materials to support the discussion, ensuring they have the resources needed to fully participate and gain the most from the session.

Context:

The deadline for transposing the NIS2 Directive into national law passed on 18 October, marking the official start of the compliance clock for many EU countries. With organizations now on the path to meeting the Directive’s requirements, particular attention is focused on implementing the key provisions of Article 21, which outlines the obligations for incident reporting, risk management, and governance frameworks. To support the ongoing efforts of companies and organizations in this journey, ECSO invites its Members to showcase case studies of NIS2 implementation.

This initiative aims to foster meaningful dialogue among cybersecurity practitioners, solution providers, and key decision-makers from public authorities. By facilitating these discussions, ECSO seeks to strengthen collaboration, improve understanding of the challenges involved in NIS2 compliance, and highlight best practices in managing the transition. Ultimately, the goal is to drive more effective and coordinated responses to emerging cybersecurity threats, ensuring a resilient and secure digital environment for all stakeholders in the EU.

  • Daan Gheysens (CEO, Cyberwolf)
