ECSO’s European HR Community joins Cyber Lunch With ENISA

ECSO, in collaboration with the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity, is organising a “Cyber Lunch” in the form of a webinar on 4 December from 12:00 – 13:00 CET.

The webinar will be held exclusively for the Members of ECSO’s European HR Community and will be joined by Fabio Di Franco, ICT Security Expert at ENISA, who will guest as a distinguished speaker for this gathering.

Mr Di Franco’s expertise on the development of cybersecurity skills in Member States and on the identification of current initiatives regarding technical training to support state-of-the-art information network and security capabilities will offer attendees the chance to acknowledge the role that HR plays in ENISA’s strategy to reduce talent shortage in Europe.

To attend the webinar, we invite you to send an e-mail to Arnaud de Vibraye at arnaud.de.vibraye[at]ecs-org.eu.

AGENDA

Introduction: The European Cyber Security Skills Framework

Case Studies: three examples as presented in the European Cybersecurity Skills Framework manual.

Case A. Crafting a cyber job description: how ECSF can be beneficial from the perspective of human resources without the need to have a deep understanding of the cybersecurity profession.

Case B. Enhancing the cybersecurity practices of a small company: how a small organisation might use the ECSF to support the development of a cybersecurity strategy, including the planning of human resources for cybersecurity and planning the procurement of cybersecurity.

Case C.
The application of the ECSF when creating a new cybersecurity department and preparing a cybersecurity human planning for a medium-large organisation.

About the European Cybersecurity Skills Framework

The European Cybersecurity Skills Framework (ECSF) is a practical tool to support the identification and articulation of tasks, competencies, skills, and knowledge associated with the roles of European cybersecurity professionals.

The ECSF summarises all cybersecurity-related roles into 12 profiles, individually analysed into the details of their corresponding responsibilities, skills, synergies, and interdependencies. It provides a common understanding of the relevant roles, competencies, skills and knowledge required, facilitates recognition of cybersecurity skills, and supports the design of cybersecurity-related training programmes.
