Powered by the ECCO project, led by ECSO, the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) is launching a brand-new initiative, a series of events known as Knowledge-Sharing Events, to foster exchange of expertise and best practices among European stakeholders.
These events will invite EU institutions, NCCs, public authorities, and industry leaders to discuss, exchange ideas, and share insights of some of the most pressing topics in the field of cybersecurity. The ultimate aim is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge in Europe, to identify the most pressing cybersecurity challenges, to strengthen collaboration and coordination among NCCs and European stakeholders, and to provide a platform for networking and strengthening the European cybersecurity community as a whole.
The inaugural Knowledge-Sharing Event will take place on 8 November 2023 13:30 – 16:15 in a hybrid format from Brussels. Organised in collaboration with the Belgian National Coordination Centre (NCC-BE), this event will focus on the topic of “cybersecurity awareness” in Europe. As such, it will feature both private sector entities as well as National and European authorities sharing informative presentations as well as case studies on successful real-life awareness initiatives. The event will also feature a roundtable discussion led by experts in the field of cybersecurity awareness, all to discuss, exchange ideas, and share insights.

- 14:00 – 15:00 Presentation from the NCC-BE on awareness initiatives and case-study presentation by invited stakeholder on a successful cybersecurity awareness initiative
- 15:00 – 15:15 Break
- 15:15 – 16:15 Presentations from other European NCCs on national awareness initiatives followed by discussion
