On 26, 27, and 28 of March 2024, the European Cyber Security Organisation participated in the Forum InCyber 2024, Europe’s leading event for digital security and trust. Held annually in Lille (France), the event brings together the entire cybersecurity ecosystem: from end-customers and solution vendors to government agencies and universities, including service providers and law enforcement. Over the course of the three days, ECSO showcased its latest initiatives at its own booth, drawing notable interest from visitors who had the opportunity to engage in discussions and ask questions to our team.
Two of ECSO’s initiatives held a special place within the Forum InCyber 2024. Tom Bastiaans, Product Owner of Cyberhive EUROPE, presented the unique cybersecurity marketplace to investors and industry members on the EU Pavilion stage. Bringing together end users, vendors, and investors on a single platform, Cyberhive EUROPE aims to strengthen and unify the market by offering European cybersecurity solutions the opportunity to easily and effectively expand into neighboring countries.
“This FIC 2024 was great for talking to our current members, and pitching on stage about our vision to support a competitive and sustainable development of the European ecosystem. With the introduction of investors to the platform, Cyberhive will analyse the competences of and investments in the European market.”

Arnaud de Vibraye, Manager for Skills and Human Factors, introduced the Road2Cyber initiative shortly after. Born from the collaboration between ECSO and the Women4Cyber Foundation, Road2Cyber offers an integral approach to the talent supply shortage in the cybersecurity industry. Providing resources and support for all ages, the project has positioned itself as a key initiative for the industry’s immediate and long-term development. Road2Cyber has recently launched its early access for ECSO members and plans to open to the public very soon.
“Today, companies are increasingly exposed to cyberattacks, while facing a lack of skilled workforce, and the introduction of new EU policies. To help them, Road2Cyber brings together private initiatives for retraining the European workforce, to recruit talents, to connect industries and universities, job seekers and recruiters, and to promote their activities, such as training or cyber range providers.”

The relevance of the Forum in the European and international landscape has provided, as it does every year, the ideal stage for ECSO to showcase its presence in the European cybersecurity ecosystem, connect with potential new members, and engage with high-level stakeholders.
