ECSO and ETSI renew their cooperation on cybersecurity and standardisation
ECSO and ETSI are pleased to strengthen their relationship and foster a close co-operation in the field of cybersecurity and standardisation.
The Memorandum of Understanding formalises the mutual cooperation in exchanging information and experience on regional and international standardisation, specifically focusing on ICT security and interoperability areas.
ECSO and ETSI have a shared objective of advancing standardisation, certification and supply chain management in different areas connected to ICT Systems which include electronic signatures, secure element technologies and cybersecurity.
“Developing collaborative activities with other open and inclusive environments help ECSO further its goal of understanding the needs of the market, identify gaps and support the rollout of certification schemes. Therefore, the cooperation with ETSI is a step forward in our quest to grow our network with other members of the community”, explains Luigi Rebuffi, Secretary General of ECSO.
