S2 Grupo strengthens its presence in the Netherlands

The ECSO Member S2 Grupo, recently had the honor of receiving the visit of the Ambassador of the Netherlands in Spain, Roel Nieuwenkamp, at their main facilities. This visit provided an opportunity to showcase their impressive track record as the largest cybersecurity company with 100% Spanish capital, highlighting how they are consolidating their presence in the Netherlands and Europe.

Since 2022, S2 Grupo has maintained a delegation in the Netherlands, enabling them to develop key cybersecurity projects for important entities such as the European Central Bank, the Port of Rotterdam, and several United Nations agencies, as well as in critical sectors including water, energy, logistics, transport, and healthcare. Their collaboration with the National Cybersecurity Center of the Netherlands reinforces their commitment to protecting vital infrastructure in the region.

The ambassador’s visit is part of a series of events following the Netherlands Business Summit held in April, where S2 Grupo played a leading role in fostering bilateral cooperation between Spain and the Netherlands, attended by King Felipe VI and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.

During the visit, the ambassador toured S2 Grupo’s new facilities, which have become a true epicenter of European cybersecurity. In this meeting, S2 Grupo shared its areas of expertise in cybersecurity and cyberintelligence, as well as its R&D projects and expansion plans for the coming years in both the Netherlands and Western and Northern Europe.

S2 Grupo is proud of its strong customer base in the Netherlands, which includes critical infrastructure projects for ports and airports, as well as various cybersecurity initiatives for cities. These clients, encompassing both public and private institutions, reinforce S2 Grupo’s position as an international benchmark in cybersecurity.

Their purpose in expanding across Europe is clear: to enhance the continent’s technological independence and contribute to digital sovereignty in a global context marked by increasing cyberespionage and cyberwarfare. Additionally, S2 Grupo’s presence is bolstered by their active participation as founding members of the European Cybersecurity Association (ECSO) and their role on the Partnership Board, collaborating directly with the European Commission to shape the cybersecurity R&D strategy for the years ahead.

S2 Grupo remains committed to the security of their customers in Europe and beyond, providing solutions that protect critical infrastructures and ensuring digital stability and security across key sectors such as Distribution, Energy, Banking and Insurance, Healthcare, and Industry, as well as within Public Administration organizations.
