NIS2 Implementing Act: Send your feedback!

The NIS2 Implementing Act is now officially in feedback period. Following ECSO’s efforts in disseminating and engage our Membership in the policy process, we are now collecting feedback to ensure it is not only transmited but heard by the European Commission. For more information on how to deliver your feedback, contact Sebastijan Cutura, Čutura, CISO Network and Related Policies Manager at ECSO.

On 27 June 2024, the European Commission opened the feedback period for the NIS2 Implementing Act. Following this announcement, the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) carried out an info session on the updates exclusively for our Members. Now, ECSO is collecting Member’s feedback to ensure their concerns are voiced and heard by the European Commission. The newly published draft of the NIS2 Implement Act arrives after ECSO held the workshop with representatives of the industry and the Commssion to specify thresholds for the reporting of significant incidents.

Feedback from ECSO Members will directly impact the final version of the NIS2 Implementing Act. With this opportunity, industry stakeholders can highlight real-world challenges and potential issues with the proposal, helping create a more feasible regulatory framework for their projects and the whole ecosystem. Additionally, their expertise and insights will improve the robustness and relevance of the act. Don’t miss this opportunity to make your voice heard!
