The European Cyber Security Community Project (ECCO), led by ECSO, announces its new awareness webinar focused on The GCA Cybersecurity Toolkit for Small Businesses, taking place on 25 November 2024, 16:00 – 16:45 CET.
Summary
The GCA Cybersecurity Toolkit for Small Businesses is a set of free, practical resources developed by the Global Cyber Alliance (GCA) to help small businesses strengthen their cybersecurity defenses. Small businesses are often targets of cyberattacks but may lack the expertise or resources to implement complex cybersecurity measures.
Today, more than 43% of cyber attacks are targeted at small businesses. Most businesses aren’t prepared to respond to an incident, or aware of tools and best practices that can be used to protect against common threats. That’s why the Global Cyber Alliance has created the Cybersecurity Toolkit for Small Business – to provide free tools and resources you can use right now. The toolkit is applicable for any small organization with limited IT expertise, resource or budget – whether commercial, not for profit or mission based.
Speakers:
- Gill Thomas (Director of Engagement, Capacity and Resilience Program, Global Cyber Alliance)
- Kayle Giroud (Director, Common Good Initiatives, Global Cyber Alliance)
