Enhancing Cybersecurity through Incident Response and Threat Intelligence – “IRIS Final Exploitation Workshop”

We are pleased to announce that we are working together with partners of Project IRIS to organise an event on 20 June at the CYBERSEC CEE EXPO & FORUM 2024, where ECSO is participating as a partner and will have a booth.

This event will provide a platform to address the critical importance of advancing the use of IoT and AI-driven ICT systems in Europe, crucial for our collective future. However, unlocking this potential depends on our ability to strategically protect these systems from cyber threats and breaches of privacy.

During this workshop, participants will gain insights into various facets of cybersecurity: including the complexities of incident reporting, the pivotal role of Security Operations Centres (SOCs), and the strategic benefits of cross-border information sharing. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to delve deeper into the AI & IoT threats and explore effective solutions for protecting critical infrastructure within smart cities.

H2020 IRIS aims to prepare the EU industry for the threats to IoT, ICS, AI and other systems. IRIS concept is proposed as a federated threat intelligence architecture that deploys autonomous detection of IoT and AI threats, enriched with privacy-aware intelligence sharing and collaboration, and advanced data protection and accountability. IRIS will be demonstrated to workshop participants on 3 highly realistic environments of smart cities infrastructure – Helsinki, Tallinn and Barcelona.

Join us as we collectively strive to fortify Europe’s digital landscape and secure its technological future.
