ECCO WG on skills is organising a webinar on “Educational Curricula Alignment to Market Needs” on 6 November, from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM. Two inspirational speakers on bridging the gap between educational needs and industry demands will be featured at this event.
ECCO WG on skills is excited to listen to Prof. Jack Noel coordinator for cyber at Université Bretagne Sud (UBS), presenting “From Student to Job in Cyber: switching Education Programs to Skill Blocks” – Deciphering how French higher educational institutions are restructuring the courses based on demand for cyber security jobs.
Dr. Anna Felkner from National Research Institute (NASK) in Poland will talk about “Bridging the Gap between Cybersecurity Industry Needs and Tertiary Education Graduates Skills”, where she will point out how tertiary education fails to provide students on-the-job experience they need for practical applications of their cybersecurity professor, leaving those who enter this profession unprepared.
