Assessing the ECSF: the experience of recruiters and hiring managers in implementing the framework

ECSO announces the upcoming webinar “Assessing the ECSF: the experience of recruiters and hiring managers in implementing the framework”, organised under the scope of its newest initiative: Road2Cyber. The event will be held on 22 May 2024, from 14:00 to 17:00 and it will address the critical need for skilled cybersecurity professionals. ECSO intensifies efforts to elevate skills as a business and political priority, this includes supporting ENISA’s European Cyber Security Skills Framework (ECSF) and fostering collaboration through hybrid events.

Road2Cyber serves as a platform uniting various private initiatives to recruit and retain the European cybersecurity workforce. A collaboration between ECSO and the Women4Cyber Foundation, it offers end-to-end solutions for companies to access European talent pools and promote skilling activities.

The workshop on 22 May aims to gather feedback from recruitment professionals on the ECSF’s usage, impact, and assets. Insights from the survey and case studies will inform ENISA’s framework implementation. The workshop schedule includes presentations by ENISA, survey results analysis, and case study discussions. Breakout sessions will focus on topics such as the importance of a common taxonomy of roles and skills, practical ECSF application, and integration into recruitment processes.

The goal is to foster connections between HR professionals and ENISA policymakers and produce guidelines for recruiters on ECSF usage.

DISCLAIMER: This webinar is exclusively for ECSO and European Cyber Recruitment Community members, including recruiters, HR managers, hiring managers, talent acquisition specialists, and teachers.
