ECSO Participates in the V2Security Conference in Copenhagen

Denmark’s biggest cybersecurity and data protection event, the V2Security conference, took place in Copenhagen last week on 10-11 May. The much-awaited event was a huge success, uniting thousands of the most brilliant cybersecurity talents. As the voice of the European cybersecurity community and stakeholders, ECSO was delighted to speak about the CYBERSECURITY MADE IN EUROPE Label as an example of the support ECSO provides to SME’s

ECSO’s Ana Vallés Boriés participated in a lively panel discussion with Sofie Jensen from CenSec and Michael Stranau from Zybersafe on the importance of supporting European cybersecurity companies to guarantee European cyber resilience and the safety of our digital infrastructures. The CYBERSECURITY MADE IN EUROPE Label was created to and promote European cybersecurity companies that meet the highest security, quality, and reliability standards. By acquiring the Label, a company can differentiate itself as providing services and products of the highest security, quality, and reliability standards and, consequently, increase its visibility in the eyes of potential business partners, end-users, and investors in the cybersecurity market. Initiatives such as this are crucial not only in providing solutions to modern European problems but also in bridging the gap between supply and demand so that the solutions provided by these innovative companies are visible and accessible to buyers.

Over the two days, guests were fully immersed in engaging conversations about the most prevalent topics of the cybersecurity industry, had insightful discussions, and most importantly learned from  experts’ insights.

The success of the V2Security conference serves as a reminder of the importance of advocating for cross-border, cross-cultural networks in a world that is becoming increasingly more connected. Above all, the event highlighted the excellence of European cybersecurity professionals, leaving everyone with great excitement for the future of cybersecurity.

Thank you to CyberHub by DigitalLead, our partners in this session Sofie Jensen – CenSec – Center for Defence, Space & Security and Michael Stranau – Zybersafe and Zaynab Al-Hussaini for the lively discussion. Ana is looking forwards to seeing you again!
