ECSO joins forces with The Hacking Games through Road2Cyber initiative

The European Cybersecurity Organisation (ECSO) is proud to announce a new partnership with The Hacking Games, in the framework of the Road2Cyber initiative which provides a centralised European Community platform for training and job opportunities in the cybersecurity industry and supporting activities such as job fairs and a European Cyber Internship Programme.

The collaboration also includes the participation of the Women4Cyber Foundation, reinforcing a shared commitment to building a diverse and inclusive cybersecurity workforce. The objective of this collaboration is to amplify visibility, create new pathways for talent acquisition, and strengthen the cybersecurity ecosystem.

Uniting forces to bridge cybersecurity gaps

By joining the Road2Cyber initiative, The Hacking Games reinforces a shared mission to close the cybersecurity talent gap by empowering the next generation trough inclusive, hands-on and community-driven approaches. This collaboration reflects a joint commitment to inspire, train, and connect young talent with real-world opportunities, supporting their journey from education to employment in Europe’s growing cybersecurity ecosystem.

About the Hacking Games

The Hacking Games is creating a generation of ethical hackers to make the world safer. Their recruitment tech platform uses AI to enable the cybersecurity industry to hire unconventional talent to fill the labour deficit. By inspiring through entertainment, social media and online communities to acquire GenZ talent, the bespoke AI platform matches unconventional talent to jobs.

With the cost of Cybercrime forecasted to be $23trn in 2027, and 80% of NYC Teens polled having tried hacking before they were 16 years old,  we are facing a generational crisis. The labour deficit is growing: 5.5 million people are working in cybersecurity globally, but there are 4 million unfilled roles. Their Haptai platform focuses on building technical hacking competencies, enabling individuals to gain real-world skills while enhancing their problem-solving abilities in cybersecurity.

By fostering a supportive environment for young talent, The Hacking Games helps bridge the gap between interest and opportunity in the cybersecurity field.
