We are thrilled to announce the first two selected finalists for the ECSO CISO Choice Award 2025, unveiled at the ECCC Access-2-Market event held on 23 May. This event provided a platform for scale-ups to present their innovative cybersecurity solutions targeting the healthcare sector or critical infrastructure. A distinguished Judging Panel of Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) meticulously evaluated the pitches and selected GuardedBox and Labyrinth Security Solutions as the companies with the most promising solutions. These finalists will advance to compete for the ECSO CISO Choice Award 2025 early next year.
Organised by the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) in collaboration with the Spanish National Coordination Centre (NCC-ES), Women4Cyber, the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia, and DCA, the ECCC Access-2-Market event held on 23 May in Barcelona, similarly to the ECSO CISO Choicec Award, aimed at celebrating European solutions and innovations and to provide European scale-ups with the opportunity to meet with potential buyers and gain entry onto the European market. Consequently, this will strengthen the European cybersecurity market and boost digital and strategic autonomy within Europe.
After a careful deliberation by a European Judging Panel, composed of Victoria Valbuena (Head of Internationalisation, INCIBE), Xavier Vila Espinosa (CISO, Validated ID), Sanja Kekic (CISO, Komercijalna Banka), Rayna Stamboliyska (CEO & Founder, RS Strategy), Oscar Diaz (Director of the Cybersecurity Competence Centre, Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia), David Vidal (CISO, Hospital Clínic de Barcelona), of 10 outstanding pitches from the competing scale-ups at the event, Guarded Box and Labyrinth Security Solutions walked away from the event as the two chosen scale-ups with the best pitches and most promising solutions to go onto compete in the final competition: the ECSO CISO Choice Award 2025, set to take place in beginning of next year.
“From GuardedBox, we would like to thank ECSO for their recognition and the opportunity. We are working very hard to protect information security in the healthcare and critical infrastructure sectors, so it is an honour for us to have made it to the final.”
Expressed Mónica Salas, Founder and Strategy Manager of GuardedBox
