The 30th November is Computer Security Day, and as explained by ECSO Member Cyber Security Coalition, there is no Computer Security Day without Ada Lovelace.

In this blog, the Cyber Security Coalition tells the story of Ada Lovelace, the 19th century English mathematician who first appreciated the power of programming a computer and whose work has inspired today's US Department of Defense's programming language “Ada”, as well as many young women who choose a STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) career.

Ada Lovelace's story reminds us of the importance of including more women in the field of cybersecurity, which the mission of the Women4Cyber Foundation, founded by ECSO.
